MP 932 – REDUCING 50% OF SOCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS – S SYSTEM FOR 3 MONTHS
ECONOMIC SUPPORT MEASURES vs. COVID-19
The government published Provisional Measure 932/2020, which reduces for three months the contributions that are collected by companies.
The measure reaches entities such as Sesi, Senac, Senai, Sesc, Sest, Senar and Sescoop. According to the government, altogether the rates paid by the productive sector will be cut by 50%.
So the reduced rates to apply on gross salaries basis are now :
National Cooperative Learning Service (Sescoop): 1.25%.
Industry Social Service (Sesi), Commerce Social Service (Sesc) and Transport Social Service (Sest): 0.75%.
National Commercial Apprenticeship Service (Senac), National Industrial Apprenticeship Service (Senai) and National Transport Apprenticeship Service (Senat): 0.5%.
National Rural Apprenticeship Service (Senar): 1.25% of the contribution levied on the payroll; 0.125% of the contribution levied on the revenue from the commercialization of rural production owed by the rural producer and the agribusiness; and 0.10% of the contribution levied on the revenue from the marketing of rural production due by the individual rural producer and special insured.
